Wise as Serpents

A look at the book of Proverbs

If, like King Solomon, you wish you were wise, then the Sunday teaching series in August should be a big help for you.  The Book of Proverbs is the Bible’s encouragement for all God’s people to be wise.

And wisdom is not about intelligence or academic learning.  It is about practical godly common sense gained in the rough and tumble of life.

Wisdom is a gift from God rather than a human achievement.  Wisdom is the thing which Solomon chose above all other things, when offered a gift by God.  And as he later found to his cost, it is given to be used.  Be wise as serpents.
