The diary for weddings beyond the current year, is kept by Rev Rob McLaren. To qualify for marriage in St George's, one partner must live in the Parish of Poynton, or have an address there which can be used.
If you cannot qualify in that way, you must either attend St George's regularly for at least 6 months, which then enables you to join the Church's Electoral Roll. Or, you may seek the licence of the Archbishop of Canterbury. This is more expensive and he requires some adequate reason.
It is not our policy to marry those who have been divorced and have a partner still living, except in the occasional case of them being regular members of the congregation.
